Elegance and simplicity in steel and comfort.

The Seat is a low armchair which can be transformed to a sofa by connecting several seat elements to each other. The steel frame links the seating part with the back guardrail ensuring a comfortable 'bounce'. The Seat functions multi purposely and is soothing for the eye. The product expresses its elegance from the light structure which gives an extra impression of comfort without forfeiting its minimal functional appearance. Particularly the fold in the steel plate on the back is an eye catcher. Comfort is not subordinate to the form, but plays true to its role in the design process.
